When her young son Woo-in had trouble concentrating during his first class at the cultural center, actress Hwang Bo-ra had to deal with an unexpected parenting problem. She jokingly put him on a "blacklist" at the community center.

As per Naver, the actress filmed her visit to the "Teuniteun" program, a class that takes place every three months at her apartment community center, and posted it on her YouTube channel "Hwang Bo-ra Bo-ra-iety."

Hwang said that the program was very popular: "I'm not lying, even if you frantically click at 6 AM, you can't get a spot. That's how intense this class is," she said, noting she paid for the class herself.

Ji-woo's mother, who is also a parent, talked about the difference between cultural centers and kids' cafes. She said, "At kids' cafes, we have to play with him ourselves, but here, the teacher takes the lead first, so it's a bit more comfortable for us."

Despite their careful planning, Woo-in struggled to keep up with the scheduled activities.
An observer said that the teacher had tried to calm the kids down by having them sing and dance as a warm-up. However, Woo-in left the room for a short time and came back unable to concentrate, showing interest in things that had nothing to do with school.

Hwang tried to support her son, but she said it was too hard for him. "Stop studying art! Stop studying art! Don't study art!" she exclaimed in frustration, trying to redirect him during a sudden shift from art to physical play as reported by Sports Chosun.

In the end, the actress used humor to deal with how her son was acting. She pointed at Woo-in and laughed. "You're on the blacklist. Now. The 'Tuni Tuni' blacklist. I guess today is your first and last time."

Hwang talked about how she felt in her daily review: "I'm quite disappointed; I really thought Woo-in would follow along well." In the video, it was Woo-in's friend Ji-woo who comforted Hwang as she pretended to cry, highlighting the lighthearted tone of the situation.

Hwang married Cha Hyun-woo in 2022 and had Woo-in in 2024. Although the first day of class was a disaster, the online attention that Hwang's account received sparked a lot of conversation about the difficulties that parents face and how long a child can focus in a group setting.

The publication reported on the story, which has gotten a lot of attention from the public because of the celebrity mother-son relationship.

The event is a reminder of how unpredictable early childhood education can be and how funny parenting can be, even for famous people.
