Dropbox has just updated its Carousel photo gallery app with new features that would enable users to revisit old memories. For those who still don’t know that there is such app, yes, the eggheads behind the popular cloud storage app has come up with an add-on that provides a faster and better way to view photos and videos.

Carousel allows users to browse all of their images and videos in a single gallery that’s conveniently arranged according to events. Users won’t have to worry about running out of storage space since all of their photos and vids will be stored directly to their personal Dropbox cloud storage and will not be taking a lot of space on their device’s local storage.

As for shareability, Carousel allows users to share their photos however they want, whether it is via email, SMS, or through different social media like facebook and twitter.

In the latest release of Carousel on iPhones and iPads, the app can now remove the images from the camera roll. Since the photos are uploaded directly to Dropbox, users can still view them on their phone, tablet, and the web.

Here are other features that are included in the new release.

Flashback. This new feature enables users to reminisce old times through old pictures uploaded to Dropbox. This is actually intended for people who like to have their #TBTs more often

Albums. As one of the most requested feature in the app, it lets users arrange their photos according to events, dates, and however they want it to be organized.

Time Wheel. This feature is a great way to scroll back in time while browsing through photos and videos. Simply swipe left on the timeline to show the time wheel and relive favorite memories.

Carousel by Dropbox is available for download on App Store free of charge.
