Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are like the modern day "Romeo and Juliet" because some people are against their relationship. Just recently, the 22-year old singer was invited to Taylor Swift's birthday bash and her ex-boyfriend wasn't included in the guest list.

Some of the biggest names in the music world were there expect for the Canadian pop star. That clearly showed how protective Taytay is of her BFF, but would that help the "Come and Get It" singer?

US Weekly reported that Selena Gomez had a breakdown during the party. An eyewitness revealed, "She shouted, 'No one understands me! My boyfriend doesn't even understand me." The insider also said that bystanders just including Sam Smith just stared at her. Seeing famous couples such as Beyonce and Jay Z as well as Justin Timberlake who is expecting a baby with Jessica Biel could have triggered her emotions.

Everyone are now happy with their better half expect Selena Gomez and there have been reports that her BFFs are protecting her from Justin Bieber. The 20-year old pop singer was really hurt when he found out that he wasn't invited to Taylor Swift's party.

A source told Hollywood Life, "He was bummed when he heard who went, he feels like he really should have been there." The insider also said, "He doesn't have a problem with Taylor, but he knows she just doesn't get him. And for that reason he thinks Taylor doesn't get Justin and Selena as a couple. It's frustrating for him and frustrating that Taylor didn't include him considering how close she is to Selena."

This bash was the perfect time for Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber to talk to each other again, but that didn't happen. An insider said, "If Selena had invited him to go, he would have gone as her date in a heartbeat." The source added, "He wants to make things right with Selena but her friends don't approve of him and he thinks they have it out for him."
