Yoo Seung Ho Is Not Ready For Romance

After two years in the army, Yoo Seung Ho is not thinking about romance. The actor wants to focus on his career.

When he appeared at a fan meeting in Seoul on Dec. 21, he was asked about his plans and he said that he wanted to make movies.

"I want to try movies in which I have to solve cases on my own, as I'm not interested in romance yet," he said. "I want to try confusing yet thrilling movies and find something I can call my own."

At the fan meeting he was asked if there were any female celebrities he was eager to work with. He could not think of anyone in particular. Had he missed anyone?

"I missed everyone," he said.

And when asked again if there was anyone in particular, he said, "Not yet."

He said that if he winds up dating, he promises to let his fans know. He also spoke about why he was so eager to spend time with his fans.

"I watched 'Taken' with my mother when I was on holiday," he said. "I have seen all of Liam Neeson's movies. I love watching him. I thought about what made me start acting and it's because people like me and continue to watch me. I want to repay them by giving them happiness by looking at me. Even if it's for an hour or two."

He said more about how dear his fans were to him, how they encouraged him to work harder.

 "I'm grateful that they are there for me and show me support," he said.

In the near future more of his fans will have a chance to see him up close. The actor plans to travel to Osaka and Tokyo in Japan and Shanghai in China for more fan meetings.

And while Yoo Seung Ho may have no plans for romance in his real life he has already lined up a romantic partner for his next film project. He will appear in the film "The Joseon Magician," playing a magician with a traveling circus. Go Ara will play the Joseon-era princess who meets him on her way to marry to a prince. Her princess character falls in love with his magician character and has to decide whether to fulfill her royal destiny or run off with the circus.
