Gong Hyo Jin Says Jo In Sung Is Too Tall To Kiss Comfortably

"It's Okay It's Love" featured plenty of kisses. The kisses happened early in the drama, happened frequently, and played a part in the healing of the lead characters, played by Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin. But according to Chinese media, Gong Hyo Jin did not find it easy to kiss Jo In Sung.

At a celebration of the drama's broadcast in Taiwan, the actress spoke about the filming of the drama. She was asked what it felt like to kiss her co-star Jo In Sung.

"I didn't know what to feel because there were so many people around us," she said.

Filming a kissing scene surrounded by cameras can be more work than pleasure and she did admit that their scenes were difficult.

"It hurt when I had to lift my face high enough to kiss Jo In Sung because he's very tall," she said.

The actress is 5' 8" and Jo In Sung is 6' 2." The actress is often paired with stars that are taller than her. So Ji Sub, her co-star in "The Master's Sun,"  is 6' 0."

When asked which actor was her favorite star to work with she mentioned Cha Seung Won. He played a has-been rock star and her romantic interest in "The Greatest Love." And for the record, he is also 6' 2."

"He's manly and very fashionable," said Gong Hyo Jin. "I personally like fun people and that's exactly what he is."

She also mentioned Cha Seung Won in another Chinese interview.

"He's really fun and not only does he have more experience than me but he's very meticulous," she said. "He encourages me a lot when we are working together."

Fun does seem to be very important to the actress. When previously asked about So Ji Sub, she said that his sense of humor surprised her.

"When I first met him I thought he would be a quiet person. But contrary to my expectations he laughs a lot. He jokes a lot when we talk to each other."

Shortly after she finished filming "It's Okay, It's Love," Gong Hyo Jin broke up with her actor boyfriend Lee Jin Wook. And a few weeks later Jo In Sung broke up with his girlfriend, actress Kim Min Hee. Both their agencies denied that the co-stars broke up with their significant others because they were romantically involved with each other. Gong Hyo Jin and Kim Min Hee have been friends for a long time and are still close.
