Avid viewers were beyond ecstatic when the "Grimm" season 4 spoilers that they've been reading over the holidays finally took shape in last Friday's action-packed episode. However, everything wasn't exactly all right.

For one thing, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) was kidnapped by the Wesenrein in episode eight. In episode nine, we discovered that his capture was even more treacherous than previously disclosed.

The Nazi-like group were only shrugged off in previous episodes but last Friday, they proved to be a dangerous enemy after prosecuting a Wesen for marrying outside of his kind. They impaled him on a large pike and burned his body.

If Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) don't hurry, Monroe might just be the one on that pike next episode.

A small consolation for Nick perhaps, is Sgt. Drew Wu's (Reggie Lee) acceptance of truth.

Although dubious at first, he quickly accepted the truth and offered his help to look for Monroe.

It wasn't quite easy to fully accept everything, however. According to actor Reggie Lee, finding out about the truth was "almost worse than checking myself into an insane asylum."

"At the end of the day, you're f---ing tired and you just want to lay on your bed," he told TV Line. "It almost takes more out of you, the emotional stuff, than the physical stuff, than if I'd been running around all day."

Those awkward moments between Wu and Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) clearly showed his frustration.

Would you welcome these little moments of adorable confusion in future "Grimm" season 4 episodes?

These small comic relief moments managed to balance the episode. With Monroe fighting for his life, Nick desperately trying to save him, and Rosalie breaking apart, fans needed a small bit of subtle comedy to lighten things up during the episode.

Another problem that wasn't addressed in episode nine is Juliette's (Bitsie Tulloch) transformation into a Hexenbiest. Judging by the very vivid dream she had about killing Rosalie, her transition needs to be controlled.

According to a previous episode, actress Bitsie Tulloch said that Juliette is "obviously going to try to hide it from him while she figures out how to correct it. She's obviously going to try to desperately get back to normal."

Will she be looking for a cure on her own or will she turn to Captain Renard? After all, it was his mother who recreated Adalind's (Claire Coffee) potion.

Watch the next "Grimm" season 4 episode on NBC, Friday at 9 PM.
