With a little baby boy or girl on the way, preparations for Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter's wedding are already being rushed.

According to previous reports, the engaged couple decided to tie the knot in early summer before the 36-year-old theatre actress and director gives birth to their first born son or daughter.

"The invitations have gone out already which is very quick," The Mirror quoted a source close to the parents-to-be.

Just like how they announced their engagement, Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter's wedding also shocked the limited guests that they invited because they reportedly "want their special day to happen before they have the baby."

"The details have been sent out in an email rather than a paper invitation as time is of the essence," the insider added. "They're planning the perfect day. Life couldn't be much better for them at the moment."

According to Daily Mail, guests were also "sworn to secrecy about the location of the ceremony."

It was reported a couple of months ago that the couple is very traditional, not wanting the baby to be born out of wedlock.

The 38-year-old actor confirmed his fiance's pregnancy just two months after making their plans to get married known through a traditional newspaper announcement.

Although the baby's gender isn't known yet, the "Sherlock" star already received some baby name suggestions from Ellen DeGeneres and his ever loyal followers.

The TV host offered Englebert, Harpsichord and Carl as possible names for the future celebrity baby. Even Bustle listed some hilarious monikers that the Oscar nominee could try out.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter's wedding isn't the only thing keeping the Internet's darling busy nowadays. He was spotted filming for the Christmas special episode of the Emmy award winning series "Sherlock" in Gloucester Cathedral.

Cumberbatch and his lovely fiancé have also been attending several award shows after receiving nominations for playing the World War II mathematician Alan Turing in "The Imitation Game."
