iPhone 6 Vs Asus Zenfone 5: Design, Hardware, Display, Operating Systems, Camera, Battery, And Price Comparison!

According to the Fuse Joplin, the Asus Zenfone 5 has a plastic back with curved edges and has a metallic lip below its screen which is a 5 inch IPS one rendering a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels at 294 ppi pixel density. Its physical dimensions are 148.2×72.8×10.3 mm, weighs around 146 grams, and has the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.

The iPhone 6 on the orher hand, has body made of aluminum as Apple had polished its edges, making them curvier. The wide bands from the top and bottom were replaced with thinner strips. Its screen is a LED-backlit IPS LCD measuring 4.7 inches that can render a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels at 326 ppi. It has a shatter proof glass for protection, weighs 128 grams, and its dimensions are 138.1 x 67 x 6.9 mm.

The Fuse Joplin stated that the Asus handset has two types of configurations, and processors. The first one being a Intel Atom Z2580 chipset with a Dual-core 2 GHz (Z2580), while the other is Intel Z2560 powered by a Dual-core at 1.6 GHz. Both are powered by PowerVR SGX544MP2 graphics, but they have two types of RAM capacity; 1GB of RAM with 8GB worth of memory, while 8GB of RAM with 2GB internal memory for the second processor. They can expand their memories at 64GB with a mircoSD card, and its runs on the Android OS, v4.3 (Jelly Bean), upgradable to v4.4.2 (KitKat).

The iPhone 6 has a the new Apple A8 chipset, powered by a Dual-core 1.4 GHz Cyclone, and PowerVR GX6450 GPU. The Apple device has three sets of internal memorie: 16, 64, and 128GB, and has a RAM capacity of 1GB. Its software is the iOS 8, upgradable to iOS 8.1.3.

Both smartphones have 8MP primary cameras, but the the Zenfone 5 has a better secondary camera at 2MP, while the Apple handset is at 1.2 MP. The Asus handset has a powerful battery at 2110 mAh that can last 18 hours and 30 mins in 3G, while the iPhone 6's battery is at 1810 mAh that last only 14 hours in 3G.

The iPhone 6 16GB variant is worth the $649, while the Asus Zenfone 5 8GB is at $168, and the 32GB version is at $295.
