Will IU and Jo Jung Suk Star in The New KBS Drama “Lee Soon-sin is the Best”?

Singer and actress IU and actor Jo Jung Suk are apparently in the talks for KBS' new drama, according to rumors inside the industry.

Even though nothing is confirmed, insiders tell that they are both showing a positive response to the drama.

If the contract is signed, this drama will be the first leading roles for both actors. Jo Jung Suk, is a known musical actor, who got his first TV role in the drama “What's Up?”, but he became really popular for his participation in the MBC drama “The King 2 Hearts” (starring Lee Seung Gi and Ha Ji Won) where he played soldier Eun Shi Kyung, a very dedicated soldier who falls in love with the princess and becomes the king's right hand.

As for IU, this will be her second acting project after she starred in the drama “Dream High” along a line of idols. She played the character of Kim Pil Su, a plus-size student at the academy, who had a sweet love story with a a fellow student.

“Lee Soon-sin is the Best” is about a Lee Soon Sin who travels to Seoul, and becomes a big star, with the help of a business man.

This drama is expected to be aired sometime in April.
