Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Min Ho And Park Shin Hye Reveal Their Lunar New Year Plans
On February 17, the Korean publication Anju Business Daily published an article which examined the Lunar New Year or Seollal plans for top Hallyu stars Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, and Lee Joong Gi.
Seollal is a Korean holiday where most Koreans interrupt their work schedule to spend time with their families. The article focused on the correlation between the busy lives of working Koreans and their idol counterparts.
According to the article, Kim Soo Hyun plans on taking time out of his busy schedule to reconnect with family. A representative for his agency Keyeast Entertainment told Anju Business Daily that the star, “Is not going to have a schedule during the Lunar New Year. He will spend time with his family.” The representative went on to state that he would return to his regular promotional schedule after the Lunar New Year.
The actor, whose other notable works include “Dream High” and “Secretly Greatly,” gained widespread popularity throughout Asia for his portrayal of Do Min Joon in the 2013 fantasy drama “My Love From The Stars.”
The article went on to focus on “The Heirs” stars, Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye. According to the published report, both Hallyu idols are expected to spend time with their families. Lee Min Ho will return to work, with commercials and activities abroad included on his schedule. The “Gangnam 1970” star will also consider upcoming projects, during his respite from promotional activities.
Park Shin Hye, whose birthday is on February 18, will take a much needed break during the Lunar New Year. The actress has participated in numerous endorsement and magazine shoots following the conclusion of the SBS drama “Pinocchio.” She is included in the ensemble cast of the upcoming film, “Beauty Inside,” in addition to her promotional activities.
Lee Joong Gi will spend his holiday abroad, as he continues to film the upcoming movie “Under the Sicily Sun.” According to the report, the actor will depart from filming in China to Italy. The actor has gained greater popularity in China due to the film which has yet to announce a release date.
