On March 7, actress Lee Min Jung updated her Instagram account for the first time since August 2014. The expectant mother posted a photo which depicted individual Polaroids which appeared to have been taken during happy occasions.

The photo was accompanied by the phrase, “I am grateful to my people.”

Lee recently returned to Korea with her husband, actor Lee Byung Hun. He has been mired in controversy since he became embroiled in a blackmail scandal involving Lee Ji Yeon and former-GLAM member Kim Da Hee. The scandal began when the actor filed charges against his alleged blackmailers in August 2014, claiming that the two women were threatening him with a compromising video. The case was recently settled, resulting in jail time for the two young women.

When the couple returned to Korea, the actor immediately apologized for the distress he caused his wife. However, the scandal continues to have lasting effects.

An article published by the Korean outlet Newsen titled "Lee Min Jung updates whereabouts ahead of baby birth" received harsh comments by netizens.

One of the most popular comments on the Newsen article focused on how the actress should live quietly, rather than using SNS. Another harsh comment that was republished by Netizen Buzz, received more than 1,000 votes up. The internet user stated, “Nobody cares what you're up to so don't take time out of your busy schedule to update us on your whereabouts.

While there are many distressing comments, there were also fans who showed support for the pregnant actress.

The scandal continues to be a hotbed issue in Korea. The situation has even led to a musical parody. According to allkpop, the alleged text messages between Lee Byung Hun and Lee Ji Yeon have served as the centerpiece for the new Aoora release, "You, Will, Romantic."

The next project for Lee Min Jung remains unknown, as the actress focuses on motherhood. Her last starring role was in the 2014 MBC K-Drama, “Cunning Single Lady.” Lee Byung Hun has starred in several Hollywood films including his upcoming role as T-1000 in “Terminator Genisys.”
