A special Minecraft documentary is slated to air on Fusion titled "Minecraft: The Story of Mojang."

According to GameSpot, the Fusion network announced that the well-received documentary about Minecraft and its origin will air on Sunday, March 22 at 8 PM EDT.

Following the documentary at 10 PM, Fusion will broadcast a Talking Bad-style show titled, "Talking Minecraft" that digs deeper into the sandbox independent video game. YouTube personalities including "JeromeASF" Aceti and Jordan "Captain Sparklez" Maron will host the show.

According to Fusion, "Talking Minecraft" is an after-show celebrating all things Minecraft, digging deep into this phenomenon that has captured everyone's imagination. "Talking Minecraft" plans to continue the conversation around Minecraft and how it influenced the gaming world. "Talking Minecraft" will feature interviews with some video game industry experts as well as the movie's key producers.

Funded on Kickstarter and Produced by 2Player Productions, "Minecraft: The Story of Mojang" was originally released back in 2012, GameSpot noted. While other indie games have come and gone, Minecraft didn't fade away, in fact, it's growing. The story of Minecraft is an ongoing one and this probably explains why Fusion is airing the documentary and also creating its own exclusive content around the game.

Tech giant, Microsoft paid a whopping $2.5 billion to buy Mojang and the Minecraft franchise in Sept. 2014. According to GameSpot, the game recently added content based on "The Simpsons," the next MineCon is all set to take place this summer and a movie based on the series is in the works. The PC version of the game had 1 million people playing at the same time just last month.

Swedish programmer Markus "Notch" Persson who originally created Minecraft has since left Mojang. Persson outbid star couple Beyonce and Jay-Z for a $70 million mansion in Beverly Hills and not only that, he threw an amazing housewarming party.

Citing its depictions of violence, Turkey is considering banning the game.

You can watch Talking Minecraft on Fusion March 22, starting at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT with "Minecraft: The Story of Mojang" followed by "Talking Minecraft" at 10 PM ET / 7 PM PT.
