Acer introduced two impressive pieces of technology that brings budget computing in the spotlight.

Acer Iconia Tab 10

The successor to the Iconia Tab A3, the Acer Iconia 10 sports a full HD display, 1,920 x 1,200px (WUXGA) option for the screen as well as Zero Air Gap Technology, implying that there is little space between the display and touch modules.

GSMArena noted that there are two versions of the new tablet.

The $250 tablet features a 10.1" WUXGA screen, 32GB of built-in storage, 2GB RAM and a MediaTek MT8217 chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor at 1.5GHz.

The screen has fingerprint resistant coating and is laminated to the glass.

The cheaper $200 tablet, on the other hand, boasts a 1,280 x 800px screen, half the RAM i.e. 1GB and 16GB storage and a downclocked processor (1.3GHz).

All models are available in Black and White and are WiFi only. Depending on the exact model, the tablets have 5,910mAh or 5,700mAh batteries, Dolby audio tech and selfie cameras. Measuring in at just 10.2mm, its very thin.

Acer  C910 Chromebook

The world's first Chromebook sporting a 15.6" Full HD wide view angle display, the Acer Chromebook 15 C910 packs a 5th-gen Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage.

Similar to earlier models, the updated Chromebook too is designed for commercial use, making it an apt device for students as well as businessmen/women. Citing that it can withstand up to 130 pounds of force and that it features corners that can withstand drops of up to just under 18 inches, Acer said that the C910 was designed keeping the students in mind.

The C910 is Acer's first Chromebook to feature a 5th-gen Intel processor with the Core i3 and Celeron and it's slated to launch in April and will cost just $199.
