Rain And Kim Tae Hee Collectively Own More Than $34 Million In Real Estate

On April 11, the KBS2 program “Entertainment Weekly” examined the the collective worth of Korean celebrity couples who are real estate owners.

According to analysis of the episode published by TV Report, the top married celebrity real estate owners are Jang Dong Gun (A Gentleman’s Dignity) and his wife, Go So Young (Blue Fish). Jang owns property which is worth approximately $12.2 million USD while his wife owns $9.4 million USD in real estate. Their collective worth, in terms of real estate, is more than $21 million USD.

While this is an accomplishment, the report noted the potential of Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) and actress Kim Tae Hee, if the couple were married. Speculation that the power couple would be married in 2015 increased recently when Rain sold his house in Samseong Dong for an undisclosed figure.

However, he continues to own property that has significant value. Rain owns real estate which totals $24 million USD. This exceeds the collective real estate of Jang Dong Gun and Go So Young. Kim Tae Hee also maintains significant real estate, with a building that is worth more than $10 million USD.

At 16-years-old, Rain debuted with the defunct boy group, Fan Club. His popularity within Korean entertainment exploded when he starred in the 2004 K-Drama, "Full House." He returned to acting in 2014 with the musical series “My Lovely Girl," after completing his mandatory military service. His most recent project includes the Chinese drama, “Diamond Lover.”

Kim Tae Hee experienced stardom in 2003 with her role in "Stairway to Heaven." She is best known for her roles in "Iris" and "My Princess." 

Rain and Kim Tae Hee met while filming a series of endorsements in 2012. In January 2013, the couple officially acknowledged their relationship. Rumors of impending nuptials began to surface when Rain was baptized in October 2014 but the couple has yet to announce any future plans.
