Song Jae Rim and Kim So Eun Will Continue On 'We Got Married'

Song Jae Rim and Kim So Eun have not filmed their last episode of "We Got Married." Despite rumors and reports to the contrary, the program's producer says the popular couple has no plans to quit.

On May 20, a report appeared in the Korean media outlet Daily Sports that actors Song Jae Rim and Kim So Eun were ending their appearance on the program and that their last appearance together was being filmed that day. The news outlet claimed that the information came to them from someone who worked in the MBC variety department.

Sun says there is no truth to the rumors.

"Reports announcing that Song Jae Rim and Ki So Eun are leaving the show are false," said the show's producer Sun Hye Yoon. "They did not film their last episode today. We are currently filming a bungee jumping episode.

The couple has become very popular because of their playful attitude and the fact that they display plenty of affectionate skinship. The actors are obviously fond of each other. Song Jae Rim has charmed viewers with the lavish compliments he gives Kim So Eun. He called her profile "stunning" and referred to her as a goddess. He told her that he could not talk to her because she was so pretty and on another occasion said that he might not sleep at night because of the way she looked at him.

Both actors have continued to work on other projects while filming the program in which two celebrities imagine being married. Song Jae Rim just wrapped up a role in the drama "Unkind Women." Before that he appeared in "The Idle Mermaid." Kim So Eun is preparing for her role in the upcoming drama "The Scholar Who Walks The Night," starring Lee Jun Ki. Before that she appeared in "The Liar Game" with Lee Sang Yoon and Shin Sung Rok.

As popular as the couple is, the show obviously cannot go on forever.

"We cannot continue for 50 years," said Sun. "So they are bound to leave at some point, but reports saying they filmed their last episode are not true."

On May 16 Song Jae Rim said he would already have quit the show if his TV partner were anyone other than Kim So Eun.

After the couple squabbled he told her that she was cute.

"You're so cute. If you were a little less cute, if you weren't Kim So Eun, I would probably have quit married life," said Song.

They're still going strong.
