Won Bin Earned $1.6 Million Dollars From Real Estate Investments

On June 5, OSEN published a report which examined the real estate earnings accrued by Won Bin in 2014. The newlywed actor reported earnings of approximately $1.6 million USD (1.9 billion KRW) from several real estate investments. In the article titled, Won Bin succeeds this year both in marriage and investments, the writer analyzed the financial progress of the popular star.

In 2014, the actor purchased a two-story home in Samseong-dong, Seoul. The building reportedly cost approximately $1 million USD demolish and rebuild. After completing renovations, estimates for the property exponentially increased to $2.6 million USD (2 billion won).

A Real Estate Institute director explained weighed in on his progress within property acquisition and his ability to turn over the property. "Won Bin is good at property management, even at a young age," said the director of the Real Estate Institute. "His skills score 9.5 out of 10 points."

The report published by OSEN reflected on the impact his real estate investments have on his desire to accept new acting roles. His last film performance was in the 2010 action thriller, "The Man from Nowhere." Won has not starred in a Korean drama since his role in the 2002 series, "Friends."

Regardless of the frequency of his roles, he continues to hold significance as a Hallyu star. This became evident when he married actress Lee Na Young on May 30, 2015. Their private wedding continues to be one of 2015's most significant marriages.

Won and his wife are managed by the agency, Eden 9. The happy couple met through activities involving their agency, whose representatives spoke positively about their nuptials. They continue to enjoy their honeymoon, but neither star has revealed whether they will be pursuing acting projects, in the near future.
