Tom Cruise has been busy shooting for his new movie, "Mena" this past few days. And rumor has it, acting is not the only thing keeping the actor occupied on the set. The "Vanilla Sky" actor has also purportedly been spending a lot of time with his 22-year-old assistant Emily, who is allegedly his new girlfriend.

According to Daily Mail, Tom Cruise kept his rumored girlfriend close as he filmed scenes for his upcoming movie shot in Atlanta, Georgia. Emily has reportedly been Tom Cruise's on-set assistant in "Mission: Impossible 5," and it seems that the Hollywood A-lister was quite satisfied with her services as she continues to assist him in "Mena."

Back when Tom Cruise was shooting "Mission: Impossible 5" in November, Us Weekly reported that Tom Cruise has already been crushing on Emily.

"He's always flirting with her," a source told Us. "Most people on the film have noticed how into her he is. He's already asked Emily to go out to dinner with him, on a date, when they're done shooting."

There are also rumors that the 22-year-old brunette is allegedly open to the philosophies of Scientology, possibly making her connection with the actor natural and easy-going.

"You know his assistant is cool with all the crazy Scientology talk, since she agreed to be his assistant. Tom probably thinks that's his cue to go hit on any female, so long as she's not scared by his cult-like religious affiliations. One can only hope that this Emily doesn't feel pressured into dating Tom, even though Hollywood pressure will probably force her hand on that one," Celeb Dirty Laundry says.

Tom and Emily have been photographed together numerous times, the two of them smiling and looking quite comfortable with each other in most pictures. Some spectators note the similarities of Emily's features to those of Tom's ex-wife, Katie Holmes.

Until now, Tom Cruise has never been rumored to have a girlfriend after his breakup with Katie, with whom he has an eight-year-old daughter, Suri. Before tying the not with the "Dawson's Creek" actress, Tom has been previously married to Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers.
