'Dance Moms' Season 5 Spoilers: Maddie Vs Mackenzie Face Off In Next Episode! Abby Lee Miller Hires Choreographer Travis Payne

“Dance Moms” season 5 spoilers revealed that the coming episode will feature a showdown between Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler.

The official synopsis, via TV Guide, for the "Dance Moms" season 5 episode titled "Maddie vs. Mackenzie" reads:

"Maddie and Mackenzie compete with solos against each other in the same age category. Abby brings in celebrity guest choreographer Travis Payne to teach the girls a routine inspired by voguing, a style with which they are unfamiliar."

Fanning the flames, Inquistr reported that Abby Lee Miller has hired choreographer Travis Payne to teach the girls the routine. It was said that Mackenzie will focus on jazz while Maddie will learn how to tap dance. Based on the promo video, it seemed like there is definite tension between the two sisters to outshine each other. The website further reported that this would be the first time that Maddie and Mackenzie would have to compete against one another.

"Dance Moms" season 5 spoilers hinted that Mackenzie will be able to impress the judges with her "Dink or Swim" dance number. She was said to take home the top honors in the end. On the other hand, Maddie's "These Boots Were Made for Walkin" performance wins second place.

An episode of the Lifetime reality series would not be complete without the moms bickering with Abby Lee Miller. In the coming episodes, it was said that tensions will rise as some moms were not happy with their children's performance.

As Kdramastars previously reported, the ALDC founder revealed that she has long given up on watching the series.

"I stopped watching the show," she told Entertainment Weekly.

"Not because of the drama; I could care less about that. Just the dance edits. I think it's absolutely asinine to try to edit a show with dancing without a dancing consultant. That's one issue."
