"IRIS 2" Jang Hyuk Returns with an Intimidating Warning

"IRIS 2" Jang Hyuk comes back with a warning when all of his memories return.

During the 11th episode of the KBS drama, IRIS agent Ray (David McInnis) and Jung Yoo Gun (Jang Hyuk) continues to fight when Jung Yoo Gun's memories finally return.

Ray keeps Jung Yoo Gun as a prisoner and sends a gruesome video of him to the NSS. Ray holds a gun to Jung Yoo Gun's head and says, "We request for a trade for Baek San (Kim Young Chul) with Jung Yoo Gun. If you accept our request, we will stop all terror acts in Hanbando. However, if you deny our request, you will receive Jung Yoo Gun's dead body and I'll leave the rest to your imagination."

The NSS agents fall into a state of panic, unable to decide on what to do in this situation. Ji Soo Yeon (Lee Da Hae) remembers the moment Jung Yoo Gun had shot her and says, "I think IRIS used him after he lost his memories from the gunshot wound. We have to save him" but other NSS agents believed that Jung Yoo Gun had been brain washed to become an official agent for IRIS. Some wanted the trade while others believed that IRIS was trying to fool them.

Ray also believes that NSS agents will not accept his request. Ray tells Jung Yoo Gun, "You'll die soon so I'll tell you a secret" and continues to say, "We're going to find out the location of the atomic bombs in Korea and attack Seoul and Pyongyang."

Jung Yoo Gun replies, "I'll tell you something too. Nothing is going to go as you planned. Because you're going to die in my hands" and begins to smile. Jung Yoo Gun's statement shows that all of his memories have come back to him. Jung Yoo Gun finally remembers his identity as an NSS secret agent.

Meanwhile, this episode also featured Ji Soo Yeon discovering that Baek San is Jung Yoo Gun's biological father. Ji Soo Yeon later reveals the truth to Baek San and gets him to agree on the trade. While Baek San knows the truth about his son, Jung Yoo Gun does not have any idea and continues to believe that Baek San is the man who murdered his father.
