Ji Chang Wook Becomes Ambassador of The “Korea-Japan Friendship Fest”

Actor Ji Chang Wook will participate in the “Korea-Japan Friendship Fest.”

It was recently revealed that the actor will become a cultural ambassador for the charity event that is being organized by the Japan-Korea Cultural Exchange Association.

This event it's in its 5th year, and has been happening every year, since 2008. This year the event will be held at the Tokyo Art Theater on April 3rd.

The actor was chosen for his role in the 2011 SBS drama “Warrior Baek Dong Soo.” He recently held his first fan meeting in Osaka and Tokyo on February.

He even adjusted his schedule to attend the event. The actor commented, “I am so honored to have been chosen to participate in this friendly event, that other senior actors have been taken part in.”

Other actors who have participated in the event include Kim Nam Gil, Jung Il Woo, Choi Soo Jong, and Song Il Kook, who's drama have been successful in both countries.

Meanwhile, the actor have been chose to play the leading male role in the new MBC historical drama “Goddess of Fire Jeongi” alongside Moon Geun Young.
