Lee Seung Gi and Suzy Came Together For The First Time in “Gu Family Book”

Leading roles of MBC's drama “Gu Family Book” filmed together for the first time.

On March 27th, the drama's production company revealed the stills of Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Gi) and Dam Yeo Wool (Suzy)'s first meeting.

The photos are from their first shooting, that took place on March 24th, and shows Dam Yeo Wool staring down, and touching Choi Kang Chi's face, who was fainted on the floor. Apparently Choi Kang Chi tried to attack her which only earned him a smacking by Dam Yeo Wool who is a master of martial arts.

Staff from the drama revealed that the actors got along very well for the first time, and in order able to get in the mood, they read the scrip together in a fun way and were able to successfully shoot their first meeting.

As Suzy was the youngest member present, she was very polite and cheerful with everyone on set. Lee Seung Gi guided her too.

Park Tae Yeong, producer of the drama commented, “They are too handsome together is hard to explain with words that visual. As this is their first time shooting a historical drama and an action drama, they are trying really hard to do an excellent job.”

Viewers will be able to see the good looking couple in “Gu Family Book” for the first time on April 8th, at 10PM (KST).
