MBC's romantic comedy, "Warm and Cozy" aired its penultimate episode on July 1. The series picked a year after the airport scene where Lee Jung Goo (Kang So Ra) attempted to locate Baek Gun Woo (Yoo Yeon Seok), to deliver a heartfelt confession. "Warm and Cozy" recorded 7.7 percent, an increase 0.1.
Episode 15 opened with Jung Goo dejectedly leaving from the airport. Unlike most television cliches, she was unable to spot Gun Woo in the crowded terminals.
One year later, she is depicted in a seemingly domestic scene at the Warm and Cozy Cafe. In the future, Jung Poong San (B1A4's Jinyoung) has transitioned from sous to head chef and business is booming.
While the cafe appears to be functioning at a normal pace, the scene depicts Jung Goo and Mayor Hwang Wook (Kim Sung Oh) with a small baby. In Hong Sisters' tradition, the baby becomes a point of misunderstanding, throughout the episode.
Jung Goo runs into Gun Woo at the resort owned by his brother, while she is caring for the baby, who is later revealed to be her nephew. Gun Woo initially misunderstands the situation, asking if the baby has the last name Hwang, which would make him the mayor's son.
Their misunderstandings continue until the mayor intervenes, leading Gun Woo into a night of drinking. After drinking, he finally confesses his feelings to Jung Goo.
The episode concludes with Gun Woo and Jung Goo finally exploring their feelings, after remaining within the friend zone for the entire series.
