"IRIS 2" Yoon So Yi, Corneal Damage from Filming "Almost Went Blind"

"IRIS 2" Regardless of the injuries she received, actress Yoon So Yi has been continuing to film.

March 28, a representative of the production crew of "IRIS 2" revealed, "While we were filming last week, a piece of debris flew into Yoon So Yi's eye and received serious injuries. She was taken to the emergency soon as soon as it happened and received treatment."

The representative continued, "The hospital told us that she has corneal damage and that she could have gone blind if it was too late" and "Resting for only one day after the injury, Yoon So Yi returned to the set to film for 'IRIS 2'. It is not a big injury. All the cast and crew are very relieved."

Also, "Yoon So Yi is currently filming for 'IRIS 2'" and "Even though she is in pain because of her injury, she is still taking the responsibility for her scenes. She plans to film the scenes that had been scheduled for this week."

In response to her worried fans, Yoon So Yi updated her personal Twitter page stating, "Thank you for worrying about me. Right now my sight is not as good as it normally is because of the corneal damage. Good thing is that the pain is almost all gone."

She continued, "I'm not blind. Thank you for being shocked and concerned."
