Selena Gomez and Cody Simpson are reportedly dating. The young couple was spotted having an intimate dinner last week, Simpson's mother even retweeted a photo of them which caused many to wonder if that was a confirmation of the rumors.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Selena Gomez and Cody Simpson spent an entire afternoon together last week. It was said that his mother approved the relationship by sharing a photo of the young couple, which the "Slow Down" singer posted.

In an interview with the Today Show, Simpson refused to reveal the real status of their relationship. When asked about Selena, he said that he was only friends with Justin Bieber's ex- girlfriend.

"It's all sweet, like I try to be friends with everyone," he said.

"I'm always good mates with everyone and stay on the good side of people. I never let any bad blood between anyone," he added.

Cody Simpson added that he was just happy to stay single for a while, given that he was with in a highly publicized relationship with supermodel Gigi Hadid.

"It's kind of nice to be able to just chill and like work on my music," he revealed.

Mail Online reported that the 18-year-old singer was definitely enjoying being a bachelor. He was reportedly "spotted partying it up with his mates, and leaving nightclubs with a string of mystery girls."

Meanwhile, Gigi Hadid has moved on to Taylor Swift's former boyfriend Joe Jonas. The couple recently went public with their relationship. On June 28, they went on a double date with Swift and Calvin Harris to the River Thames in London.

To show that she was definitely okay with one of her closest friends dating her ex, Swift shared a photo on Instagram. The couples were with Karlie Kloss, whom Swift called their "unofficial historian/London tour guide."
