Microsoft Skype For Business Download Now Possible; Tech Company Introduces New Mobile App For Windows Phone

Microsoft Has announced that it has updated the Skype for business app exclusively for Windows Phone. Formerly known as Lync, the new version has updated features including better security, emoticons and synchronized conversations. 

According to report on ZD Net, Microsoft has announced an updated version of its Internet calling app skype for Windows phone. However, only those with the Lync 2013 app on their Windows phone will have access to this new version of skype as is being disclosed by the technology giant.

As part of the update, Microsoft is promising users with a better security, a brand new set of emoticons and the unique ability to synchronize conversations. These features are sure to enhnace the overall customer experience of using this app. 

Users with the updated version of the software will see the new skype app in their account, automatically. Even the users with Windows 8.1 operating system in their mobiles, who don't have Lync 2013 app will be able to download skype business app through Windows store.

Those with Lync 2013 app will see their old VoIP call feature replaced with the updated version of skype, provided they are using the latest software. Users of Apple and Android may also expect a Skype for business app in the near future.

Another report on Emirates 247 said that in UAE where skype is blocked, users will not have a problem in accessing Skype for business app through their Windows phone provided they are corporate clients.

In an official blog post, Microsoft said that Skype for business app makes it easier for customers to handle conversations as once they are notified, others who are logged into the app will not be able to steer the dialogue or prevent the user from responding.

Skype for business will continue to be available in Dubai as the application uses Etisalat servers and is therefore considered legal.
