"IRIS 2" Lee Beom Soo Emotional After Reading Mother's Letter

"IRIS 2" Lee Beom Soo reads a letter from his mother and begins to cry.

April 17, the 19th episode of the KBS drama "IRIS 2" featured Yoo Joong Won (Lee Beom Soo) crying after receiving a letter from his mother.

Yoo Joong Won had always kept the memories of his mother deep inside of his heart. When the brutal Yoo Joong Won accidently murders Jung Yoo Gun's (Jang Hyuk) mother, he becomes distraught from the guilt. He even apologizes to Jung Yoo Gun.

Yoo Joong Won receives an order from Mr. Black to steal the nuclear weapon and begins to make plans. Right then, Yoo Joong Won's close friend walks in. Sitting across from him, he tells Yoo Joong Won, "When I first saw you, I hid this because you were so upset."

He takes out a letter from his pocket and hands it to Yoo Joong Won. He tells him that this seems like the only time he will be able to give him the letter. The letter was from Yoo Joong Won's mother.

His mother had written the letter because she was very worried for him. She mentions that people searched the house and expressed her hopes that nothing serious is happening. The whole letter was full of questions asking if Yoo Joong Won is well.

His mother also mentioned that she is sorry that she cannot be of any help. She also advises him not to even think about taking revenge for the death of his little brother.

After reading his mother's letter, Yoo Joong Won's heart becomes full of pain and begins to shed tears..
