'RHOBH' Arrested For Shoplifting Toys Worth $612 In Target; Opens About Going To Rehab, Family Drama With Monty

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kim Richards has recently been arrested for allegedly shoplifting at Target. Recent reports claimed that the reality star stole over more than 100 items, amounting to $612.

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star just came out of rehab after finishing the program earlier than expected. In July, Richards told the publication that she had second thoughts about going to treatment but said that she needed to get away from the stress at home.

"Monty, my ex-husband, is very sick and my son wasn't well. And I had to give away my dog, and I wasn't talking to my sister [Kyle Richards]," she shared.

"I love sobriety. I've always loved sobriety and relapsing was very hard for me. It was not easy. I have to say, don't take this wrong, but I really wanted to go treatment because I needed a break from what I was going through at home."

The reality star added that she was able to learn more about herself while she was in rehab.

"My arrest was my 'a-ha I get to go away now and rest and take a break from all this.'"

Kim Richards was sent to the Valley Jail in Van Nuys California last Sunday for stealing a shopping cart full of toys and merchandise.

The reality star may have had three carts full of items but she reportedly paid only a portion of it. Her ex-husband Monty could not believe that Richards is capable of doing such a thing.

"I couldn't imagine Kim stealing or shoplifting anything. She is a giver,"he told Entertainment Tonight.

"I am in complete shock. Guaranteed this must be some kind of mistake, and the facts will come out soon. She was arrested for shoplifting toys in a cart, but this was a clear misunderstanding. This was not alcohol or drug related."
