Kim Woo Bin and Miss A's Suzy have been cast as the leads in the upcoming drama which is currently referred to by the title, "Uncontrollably Fond." On August 20, the Korean outlet Daily Sports published an article confirming the casting news.

Kim has been cast as Shin Joon Young, a temperamental star. Suzy No Eun, a documentarian. Sparks will assuredly fly as the two conflicting personalities attempt to deal with one another.

According to the report, "Uncontrollably Fond" will benefit from the creativity of screenwriter Lee Kyung Hee. Lee was most recently responsible for the 2014 series, "Wonderful Days" along with projects including "Nice Guy" and "I'm Sorry, I Love You."  Represented by SidusHQ, she gained notoriety for her ability to write scripts featuring high-profile actors ranging from Won Bin to Lee Min Ki.

The article noted that Kim Woo Bin has gained attention as a film and drama star, with sex appeal. His appearance in dramas like "School 2013" and "A Gentleman's Dignity" served as a catalyst for his rising career. Kim has since starred in several movies including "The Technicians" and "Twenty."

The 2013 fantasy period series, "Gu Family Book," served as the last K-Drama role for Suzy. She is best known for her role as the aspiring starlet Go Hye Mi in the 2011 drama, "Dream High," and her portrayal of young Yang Seo Yeon in the film, "Architecture 101."

Suzy was previously in discussion to be cast as the female lead in the drama adaptation of the webtoon, "Cheese in the Trap."

In March 2015, she attracted attention from Hallyu fans following the confirmation of her relationship with actor Lee Min Ho. Lee previously starred opposite Kim Woo Bin in the 2013 teen series, "The Heirs." "The Heirs" served as the last K-Drama role for Kim.

"Uncontrollably Fond" will air in 2016, with the network yet to be determined.
