Despite the zero nominations, fans are thrilled to see Lee Je Hoon as a presenter at the Baeksang Arts Awards 2023.

The actor graced the stage looking dapper as ever, along with Taiwanese actor Greg Hsu, who handed out the Best Director Award to Yoo In Shik for the hit Netflix series "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," and to Park Chan Wook for winning the Best Director for Film category for the movie "Decision to Leave."

At the time, netizens gushed over the duo's unexpected interaction, and even manifested to headline a project together.

However, following the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards, Lee Je Hoon's confession caught his fans' attention.

Lee Je Hoon Reveals Not Getting Paid for Being Baeksang Arts Awards 2023's Presenter

During his appearance at "Calm Down Man's" live broadcast, he spoke about attending the ceremony as a presenter. The host asked if award giving bodies like Baeksang Arts Awards provided fees to actors who participated in the event, but Lee Je Hoon said that he didn't receive any.

At this point, Lee Mal Nyeon pointed out that presenters need to be compensated for their appearance and the time and effort they allotted to the ceremony.
