‘Destined With You’ Episode 13: Rowoon Critical After Trying to Protect Jo Bo Ah
Jang Shin Yu (Rowoon) was on the verge of death after he tried to protect Lee Hong Jo (Jo Bo Ah) from Na Jung Beom (Ahn Sang Woo) in "Destined With You" episode 13.
'Destined With You' Episode 13: Lee Hong Jo Distances Herself From Jang Shin Yu
Lee Hong Jo began to push Jang Shin Yu away. The lawyer attempted to get closer to her but failed.
Distancing herself from him was Hong Jo's way of protecting him from the curse.
After she remembered her past life, Hong Jo went to Eun Wol (Kim Hye Ok) to ask for a solution regarding the ill-fated curse between her and Shin Yu.
She felt uneasy and hurt as she discovered that Shin Yu's sickness was because of the curse imposed by Aeng Cho, who was her in the past.
However, according to Eun Wol, there's nothing she can do to stop the curse as the couple's fate will continue from generation to generation.
The only solution that Hong Jo had in mind was to distance herself from Shin Yu.

Jang Shin Yu was heartbroken at the sight of Hong Jo pushing him away. Her decision to stay apart added regret, saying that the reason may be because of him, and was terrified that the two of them might not have enough time to be together.
Their complicated relationship continued even at work.
Na Jung Beom Secretly Attacks Lee Hong Jo
As the story progressed, Hong Jo faced a crisis. Kwon Jae Kyeong checked the CCTV at Hong Jo's apartment and saw a suspicious man outside. He immediately reported it to Jang Shin Yu and the police.
Hong Jo, who received Jae Kyeong's call, immediately locked her doors, but when she was about to close the window, Na Jung Beom appeared and grabbed her neck. Just in time, the police arrived and Jung Beom was able to escape.
Jang Shin Yu also arrived and was worried about Hong Jo, who still looked terrified from the attack. After reassuring her, Shin Yu let Hong Jo stay in his apartment first as it was the only safe place for her at the moment.
Lee Hong Jo Sees Jang Shin Yu Unconscious
As they arrived at the parking lot, Shin Yu found a familiar car, which he suspected was owned by Jung Beom. He escorted Hong Jo first to his apartment and returned to the parking lot. He contacted Jung Beom only to find out that he was already on his way to Hong Jo.
Jang Shin Yu panicked and rushed to his apartment. Hong Jo was anxious as someone kept on knocking at the door. She hesitated at first to open the door, but later on decided to check but found no one.
She tried to call Shin Yu's number but heard his phone ringing near the hallway. She followed where the sound was and headed to the emergency exit.
Unfortunately, Lee Hong Jo found Jang Shin Yu sitting unconsciously on the floor covered with blood.
