Actress Im Soo-hyang was a special guest on "SBS's Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny" on Monday, explaining that her closeness to couple Kim Young-kwang and Kim Eun-ji was the reason she rose to their invitation to be a guest.
The guest on the September 22 broadcast was Kim Young-kwang and his wife Kim Eun-ji, while Im Soo-hyang filled in the panel to provide extra insight.
The show, as per IMBC, usually deals with the lives of couples who are married, which raised questions on Im's inclusion, given that she is not married.
Throughout the episode, co-host Seo Jang-hoon was surprised by her inclusion.
"I'm surprised you're coming out when you're not even married yet," Seo made the remarks.
As a reply, Im Soo-hyang clarified her personal attachment to the couple.
"I'm really close with Young-kwang and his wife. His wife has been a close friend of mine since high school," she said.

"I was wondering if I could say anything since I'm not married, but Young-kwang and his wife have a lot to say. I came out to speak for them from their perspective," Im added.
According to Sports Chosun, Im's visit was welcomed, providing an honest third-party opinion to the married couple's accounts. The program often provides an opportunity for couples and friends to engage in open discussions, while Im's close relationship with Kim Eun-ji made the segment feel sincere.
