The tvN production, which concluded with high viewership, and a high rating, focuses on the chaotic life of two close friends—Eun-joong, portrayed by Kim, and Sang-yeon, represented by Park Ji-hyun.

The drama portrays the highs, lows, and complicated nature of the friendship intertwined with admiration, resentment, and high emotional dependency.

Interviewing with iMBC Entertainment, Kim commented on the emotional depth of the story and the daring decisions her character made.

"Why did Eun-joong decline it?" Kim queried, referring to one scene where her character turns down a giant gift—a 13 billion won ($9.5 million) building presented by a friend.

Kim's comment in the interview that was released on Monday showed that she still feels curious and emotionally wrapped up in the character.

The actress, as per KBiZoom, talked about how the show had her thinking about the limits of generosity, pride, and emotional responsibility.

"Sometimes it is harder to deny something than to just accept it," Kim said.
Eun-joong and Sang-yeon has been praised for the raw depiction of friendship, forgiveness, and complicated love without romantic labeling.

"It felt as if I was Eun-joong. I thought about her choices so much even after we finished filming," she said, describing her perceptions of the character's decisions.

The actress described how the show began making her think about limits on benevolence, personal pride, and emotional responsibility.
