‘Outlander’ Season 2 Spoilers: ‘Scenes Pretty Much Straight Out Of The Book’ Said Author Diana Gabaldon

"Outlander" season 2 will be on TV in a couple of months.  

The author of the novel Diana Gabaldon complimented that the series is well -made just like the season 1.

"Outlander" season 2 which is an adaptation of the Gabaldon's second novel "Dragonfly in Amber" is praised by the author that it has come out well already. She said that the writers and the producers of the series adapted the novel remarkably well into series and also noted that they were constantly in touch with her about the script, according to Vine Report.

"It's just a very long very complex book" Gabaldon explains. "It's a very honest one and frankly, 20 years ago nobody could have done something like that on the screen so in a way it's the result of television having matured to the point where it can take on these very emotionally complex and very emotionally honest kinds of material," she noted, reported Radio Times.

The author who noted that technological advancement has played a great role in the outcome of the series added that the scenes are filmed as and how they are portrayed in the novel. She noted that scenes featuring in the prison and kind have come out really well.    

"They filmed those scenes pretty much straight out of the book - the scenes in the prison and so forth - and in the book it builds, this conflict which is actually a triangle you might say amongst Claire, Jamie and Black Jack Randall and you see it developing, the dimensions and aspects, through the entire story."  

"Outlander" season 2 which is set up in the pastel-hued background of France will reportedly have a darker tone hidden in it. Since the main characters of the movie Jamie and Claire will be struggling within them emotionally the plot is ought to portray such a mood. The "Outlander" season 2 will premiere in March 2016 on Starz.
