Kim Min Jung: "Queen of the Night Is My First Romantic Comedy in 24 Years"

Kim Min Jung (30) shared the filming of "Queen of the Night" was her first romantic comedy in 24 years since she debuted as a child actor.

Kim Min Jung said, "I had to show a lot of different sides of myself through this movie. I first heard about this movie through a news article. When reading the short description of the plot online, I thought, 'I want to do this.' They were conducting casting interviews at the time, so I told my manager and the production team contacted me. I accepted the offer after the initial meeting."

Kim Min Jung had to learn how to dance, shoot action scenes, and scenes where she utters swear words. She said this challenging role had motivated her to pick this work as her next movie.

"Queen of the Night" is about a timid husband Young-Soo (Chun Jung Myung), who realizes something peculiar about his loving, beautiful, smart, and perfectionist wife Hee-Joo (Kim Min Jung). "Queen of the Night" premiered on October 17, 2013.
