Ahn Bo Hyun To Join Park Seo Joon In "Itaewon Class"
Ahn Bo Hyun is confirmed to be joining the cast together with Park Seo Joon's upcoming drama, "Itaewon Class"
On the other hand Park Seo Joon, Kim Da Mi, and Yoo Jae Myung, as well as AhnBo Hyun, will be joining the cast of the drama.
On August 22, Ahn Bo Hyun's agency, FN Entertainment confirmed that Ahn Bo Hyun we will see the artist acting in the drama as well as he will play the role of an antagonist of Park Seo Jun's character.
Ahn Bo Hyun will be playing the role of Jang Geun Won, the eldest son of the corporation Jang Ga Group. Jang Geun Won is egotistical and a troublemaker who is enemies with Park Sae Roy (Park Seo Joon) from their first meeting. Oh Soo-Ah (Kwon Nara) is also involved in a love triangle between them.
The drama will be directed by Kim Sung-Yoon while Jo Gwang-Jin will pen the screenplay of the drama as well as he was also the author of the comic version. (webcomic & screenplay). The drama is set to air at JTBC on the Second Half of 2019 every Friday & Saturday at 23:00 KST.
The story talks about Park Sae-Ro-Yi (played by Park Seo-Joon) who had a physical fight by punching his classmate Jang Geun-Won, who was bullying another classmate.
The bully is the son of CEO Jang Dae-Hee (Yoo Jae-Myung) who owns and runs restaurant business Jagga where Park Sae-Ro-Yi's own father works as an employer.
CEO Jang Dae-Hee demands to Park Sae-Ro-Yi to say sorry his son, but Park Sae-Ro-Yi declined and fight for what he know is right. Because of his refusal, Park Sae-Ro-Yi gets expelled from school and his father gets fired from his job.
Soon, an accident takes place. Park Sae-Ro-Yi's father dies in a motorcycle accident caused by his ex-classmate Jang Geun-Won. Burning with anger, Park Sae-Ro-Yi viciously beats Jang Geun-Won.
He is soon arrested and receives prison time for violent assault. Park Sae-Ro-Yi decides to destroy the Jagga company and take revenge upon CEO Jang Dae-Hee and his son Jang Geun-Won. Once Park Sae-Ro-Yi is released from prison, he opens a restaurant in Itaewon, Seoul.
Jo Yi-Seo (Kim Da-Mi), who is popular on social media, joins Park Sae-Ro-Yi's restaurant and works there as a manager. She has feelings for Park Sae-Ro-Yi.
"Itaewon Class" is the first drama series produced by movie company Showbox.
