"Kingdom" Season 2 received favorable reviews, and the viewers were indeed impressed by Joo Ji Hoon and the whole cast members' performance. The actor then had the chance to share his views about the thriller drama's success.

Prince Lee Chang is played by Joo Hi Hoon who made all things possible to defend his people against suffering. The Kingdom series, also known as the "Zombie Sageuk," shows how the people from the Joseon dynasty struggled to fight for their survival against the swarming undead. And because of his efforts to protect his nation, Prince Lee Chang has been commended for his hard work and helping his people.

According to Joo Ji Hoon, he made sure to provide his best acting skills in every project he does. He feels grateful for all the praises for his performance. He also shared that before filming the show, he scans the script with co-star Ryu Seung Ryong and they are both surprised on what to do each scene. The actor is also thankful that there has been no conflict with his co-stars. He is happy to say that he maintained almost 2 years of friendship with co-stars Bae Doona and Kim Sung Kyu.

During the first season, everyone was not sure if there would be a sequel season. When it was confirmed, all the actors rejoiced. He and the rest of the cast expect for a season 3, proving that they all enjoy working together.

Meanwhile, Joo Ji Hoon expressed that he feels sad over the coronavirus pandemic, noting that the series shares a common denominator with what the world is currently facing. In reality, according to him, people try to survive and live a normal life. It's almost like the storyline of "Kingdom." He feels sad about the families and children's traumatic journey fighting the plague. Joo Ji Hoon added he prayed for everyone to be able to live life in peace again.

On another note, Jun Ji Hyun made a cameo in the last part of the drama. Joo Ji Hoon claimed that he never met Jun Ji Hyun on the set even though he's a big fan of the actress and thought it was good to see her act.

In the recent interview with screenwriter Kim Eun Hee, she says she's planning for a large concept if season 3 will push through. During the making of season 2, they tackled how the heroes combat the plague and its aftermath. She thought it would be interesting to have season 3 revolve around how the plague originated.

As for actress Jun Ji Hyun, her appearance in season 3 might make a big impact on the lead roles and the story. Kim Eun Hee mentioned that they need to discuss further with Netflix and check all the schedules of the actors and Jun Ji Hyun. The actress's cameo lasted for a few minutes, showing the place with dead bodies and a child infected with the plague. Jun Ji Hyun's role is a question if she is a zombie slayer, the people and Prince Lee Chang's would-be ally, or a lead villain.
