WATCH: Song Joong Ki Reveals How He Balances His Life and Career
Debonair Song Joong Ki is back with his most recent 25-cut pictorial and a video released under his new agency's, HISTORY D&C, YouTube channel.
In the interview that took place after the shoot, the superstar shared honest stories about his life.
When he was asked about what he's up to these days, Song Joong Ki shared, "For such a long time, this time I'm just living a very normal life. I enjoyed reading, watching movies, doing dishes, and other stuff at home."
Song Joong Ki has been staying away from the spotlight since his high-profile divorce, to the extent that any news that comes out about him would feed his fans with new content. The actor also opened up about how he balances his career as an actor and his private life.
"Often, every morning, I do the same routine. I exercise pilates early in the morning. Before, I started for rehabilitation purposes when I hurt my knee. When I did my pilates practice every morning, my mind is getting clearer, and I like it," he said.
When the video and pictures from the photoshoot were posted, people talked about his now-seemingly plump face. Many were curious if he gained weight or did something with it.
To this, Song Joong Ki commented, "I tried and practiced intermittent fasting for about a month because I didn't want to age further. It wasn't that easy, so I gave up before I hit one month."
Giving a sense into how much he is putting effort into staying fit, he commented with sincerity from his voice, "I work very hard to strike a balance between the two. I want to be an actor who always honestly expresses himself."
Song Joong Ki's upcoming movies, "Bogota" and "Space Sweepers," both have been pushed back because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fans are also looking forward to another season of "Arthdal Chronicles." Recently, the production has been postponed with indefinite status.
Earlier, a rumor broke out that he has a new girlfriend, but his agency debunked it. HISTORY D&C and his rumored sweetheart's law firm also threatened to take legal action if misinformation continues, given that the lady's identity and personal details circulated online.
