Jo Byeong Gyu and Gugudan’s Kim Sejeong Confirmed to Star in New Webtoon-Based Drama
Upcoming OCN webtoon-based drama, with the title "Extraordinary Rumor," confirmed to star Jo Byeong Gyu and Gugudan's Kim Sejeong!
This webtoon-based drama will be one refreshing, unique, and thrilling storyline full of "evil hunting"!
"Extraordinary Rumor" tells a story about a group of demon hunters who carry the name "Counters." These demon hunters decide to come to Earth, disguising themselves as employees in a noodle restaurant to capture evil spirits who aim to live eternally in this world.
Jo Byeong Gyu will be portraying So Moon's role, who is the youngest out of all the Counters. When he dies at a very young age due to a car accident, he becomes an important figure among the Counters.
Kim Se Jeong will be taking on Do Ha Na's role, who has been gifted with the ability to sense the location where evil spirits are even those who are a hundred kilometers away from her. Not only is she given one gift but two. She also can read memories with one touch.
Do Ha Na and So Moon work together to catch every evil spirit who are freely roaming around Korea.
Giving more life and joining the drama "Extraordinary Rumor" will be Yeom Hye Ran, Ahn Suk Hwan, and Yoo Joon Sang.
Yoo Joon Sang will be portraying the role of Ga Mo Tak, a Counter. He used to be a cop who lost his memory after being in an accident seven years ago. Ga Mo Tak never lets injustice thrive. He stands for all things with fairness and righteousness. He is the mentor of So Moon.
Ahn Suk Hwan will be playing the role of Choi Jang Mool, the oldest among the Counters. He is basically in charge of everything, especially the expenses of the group. He is considered to be a living legend among the Counters in Korea.
