It's such sad news that actor Kim Jun Han revealed that he would no longer appear in the "Hospital Playlist" second season.
On September 10th, an interview of Kim Jun Han was uploaded on star PD Na Youngseok's Youtube channel. In the said interview, the actor discussed his famous role in as Ahn Chihong in the medical drama "Hospital Playlist." Actor Kim Jun Han portrayed the character of Ahn Chihong as a year resident in neurosurgery at the Yulje Medical Center.

Ahn Chihong has somehow fallen in love with his co-worker Doctor Chae Songhwa (played by Jeon Mido.) Their love story was one-sided, but it was quite interesting. Although some may consider Kim Jun Han's role as a minor one but Ahn Chihong's character has been receiving much love from viewers, for he possesses a pure heart.

In his interview, the actor confirmed that he will no longer be part of the cast for the drama's second season. Kim Jun Han expressed in his own words stating, "Doctor Ahn Chihong will not be able to join the cast for the 2nd season. However, I will still 'join' the drama by showing my support as a fan." He also added that he's pretty sure that Doctor Ahn Chihong is going to do great somewhere else. He will be grateful if the fans would still support him and the drama, and, just in case that Doctor Chihong is needed sometime in the future, he is always open and ready!

Kim Jun Han ended the interview expressing that he feels unfortunate and asks himself why there are only sad thoughts in his mind? But truly, he's going to miss the cast members as well as the production staff. He will visit the set and show his support for his co-stars.

"Hospital Playlist" South Korean television series penned by Lee Woo Jung and helmed by Ho. This drama is actually the second installment of the Wise Life series, following Prison Playbook in 2017-2018. The drama stars talented actors namely Jo Jung-suk, Yoo Yeon-seok, Jung Kyung-ho, Kim Dae-myung and Jeon Mi-do.
The drama's first season was broadcasted on tvN network slated every Thursday from March 12 to May 28, 2020. At the end of the drama's first season, it was ranked as the 9th highest-rated Korean drama in cable television history. Reportedly the second season of the show is scheduled to air sometime in 2021.
