Girls' Generation YoonA Spotted Rocking a New Hairstyle for Her Upcoming JTBC Drama "Hush"
Actress and Girls' Generation's YoonA is back at rocking short hair!
Last September 28, some stills of Girls' Generation's YoonA and actor Hwang Jung Min spread quickly on the internet. The said photo was shot from their filming site for their upcoming drama titled "Hush." The female lead YoonA, who will portray the role of an intern reporter, was seen with a bobbed cut hairstyle. And it's been quite a while that her fans got to see their favorite actress flaunting a short haircut.
JTBC's forthcoming drama "Hush" is based on Jung Jinyoung's novel "Silence Warning." The said drama tells the story of newspaper reporters and other office employees as they undergo the hardships and struggles while facing dilemmas on fulfilling their duties.
Han Joon Hyeok, portrayed by actor Hwang Jung Min, will play the character of a veteran reporter for a newspaper. Initially, be pursued his career as a reporter for seeking justice. However, he now faces conflicts between idealism and pragmatism. He also needs to face and deal with his personal life issues being a husband and father.
YoonA will portray the character of Lee Ji soo, a straightforward intern reporter who does her best to follow her ideals at the same time doing her job well. She has a bold personality and isn't afraid to say what needs to be said. Eventually, Han Joon Hyeok and Lee Ji soo's paths will cross, and Han Jun Hyeok will be her mentor. Lee Ji soo then discovers her dream of becoming a true journalist.
The drama will present compassion and comfort to viewers as it exhibits happiness and the sadness of the simple and ordinary office workers.
Im Yoon-ah, or famously known as Yoona, was born May 30, 1990. The multi-talented celebrity trained for 5 years to become an idol, then on August 2007, she debuted as a member of girl group Girls' Generation (and later its subgroup Girls' Generation-Oh!GG). The girl group became one of the best-selling artists in South Korea and one of South Korea's most well-recognized girl groups worldwide.
Apart from being a famous girl group, Yoona is has also showcased her acting skills in different television dramas such as "You Are My Destiny" (2008). Through her amazing performance in this drama, she earned her New Actress award at the 23rd KBS Drama Awards and the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards.
On the other hand, actor Hwang Jung Min was born on September 1, 1970. He is considered as one of the highest-grossing actors in South Korea. Hwang Jung Min was featured in many box office hits namely:
