Lee Do Hyun has been the center of attraction in the Korean drama world because of his amazing performance in JTBC's ongoing drama titled '18 Again.'
While everyone is quite impressed with his acting in this current drama, the young actor, however, is currently involved in a controversy after his fans and followers discovered something on social media. They have uncovered that Lee Do Hyun's private Instagram account had liked an unidentified female's post. The said female posted her photo wearing a pighat. The account in question was speculated to be the actor's private Instagram account since upon checking, many other celebrities are following this certain account, models as well as fellow actors like Im Bo Ra.

Eagle eyed fans immediately noticed and realized that the pighat was actually a part of a fan support project that they had gifted to Lee Do Hyun for his birthday. One fan even tweeted the screenshot of the photo and captioned it stating:
"Is there such an actor that has to have his girlfriend post proof shots of gifts?"
"There's such an actor that likes the post in addition to that?"
Lee Do Hyun's fans felt really disappointed since he never, not even once posted to thank the fans for the birthday support. In South Korea, people are used to seeing celebrities post proof shots of project gifts and support. The said support project was still being planned, but unfortunately, it is now canceled.
According to some reports, the fans in charge of this had received other fans' requests to give back their support money. However, this was not possible since they had already spent a portion of the money on the gifts above. Eventually, the fans decided to donate the rest of the money to charity.
Yuehua Entertainment, the actor's agency, released their side of the story and issued a report clearing up the speculations. They clarified that the unidentified female in question was merely an acquaintance.
Yuehua Entertainment stated that the photo that has been circulating was taken about 3 years ago. This took place where a few close acquaintances of Lee Do Hyun had gathered, and they all used the hat together.
As of the moment, Lee Do Hyun has yet to speak with regards to this matter, and the Instagram post which sparked the controversy has already been deleted.

South Korean actor Lee Do-hyun was born as Lim Dong-hyun on 11 April 1995. The 25-year-old actor started his career in the acting industry just three years ago (2017) through the TV series - Prison Playbook. Then this was followed by his supporting role in Still 17 (2018) and Clean with Passion For Now (2018).
Lee Do Hyun was widely recognized when he was cast in the hit drama Hotel del Luna (2019) which he starred alongside IU and Yeo Jin-goo. The in 2020, he was able to bag his first leading role in the drama-fantasy series, 18 again, with Kim Ha-neul and Yoon Sang-hyun.

The drama was based on the American film 17 Again, where Lee Do Hyun is playing Zac Efron's counterpart. He will also star in Netflix's Sweet Home, which is adapted from the webtoon with the same title.
