2AM's Seulong has been charged for hitting and killing a pedestrian. Seulong was booked on the charges of violating the 'Special Act on the Handling of Traffic Accidents.' The singer and actor was officially indicted for hitting and killing a pedestrian.
According to reports, actor is to settle with the deceased's family. Today (November 3) at the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office, they have stated that they cannot declare the specific amount of fines for summary indictment. However, they have considered the fact that Seulong agreed with the bereaved family.
It was previously reported that Seulong was involved in a car accident on Saturday night of August 1st, which resulted to a pedestrian's death. The deceased was found to be jaywalking, and upon investigating, the singer and actor were confirmed not to have been drunk at the time of the accident.
According to Korean media reports, the pedestrian had been jaywalking when he was hit by Lim Seul-Ong's car. The victim wasn't able to recover from his injuries and lost his life. It was reported that the road where the accident occurred had been very slippery due to a torrential downpour.
The Seoul Seobu Police Station then stated that the celebrity was driving his SUV on the road in Eunpyeong, Seoul, at 11:50 pm on Saturday when he suddenly hit a man who was crossing the road through the pedestrian and the signal light was red. The victim was rushed to the hospital; however, he died shortly from his injuries. The singer-actor, who is more recognized as Seulong, was taken into custody and was questioned briefly by the police, then he was sent home.

On August 4th, Seulong's agency stated with regards to the unfortunate event that occurred. Jellyfish Entertainment extended their condolences for the bereaved family of the victim and elaborated on how the accident happened that night and expressed that on the night of Aug 1st, Seulong was driving his car when the accident occurred. It was raining at that time. The singer and actor immediately took emergency measures on-site. However, the victim died while being taken to the hospital. The agency also added that Seulong was in a state of shock and trauma after the accident.
Seulong's fans and followers have been sending their idol their support since the accident.

South Korean singer and actor Lim Seul Ong famously known as Seulong was born on May 11 1987. He started his career in the entertainment industry as a singer and member of the K-pop boy band 2AM. Then the kpop star tried his luck in acting and debuted through the 2010 Korean drama, Personal Taste. The singer and actor then starred alongside Lee Min-jung in Lunch Box on the single-episode anthology MBC Best Theater and this was followed by omnibus film, Acoustic.
Then in 2011, Seulong appeared in the sitcom Welcome to the Show and also hosted the music program Inkigayo together with Nickhun and Sulli.
