Lee Na Eun In Talks To Star In New SBS Drama
Girl group April member and actress Lee Na Eun to star in a new drama by SBS titled 'Model Taxi,' also known as 'Exemplary Taxi.' The idol and actress are said to be positively reviewing the offer.
On Wednesyday, October 4, an official from April's agency DSP Media announced that their talent Lee Na Eun had been offered to star in the upcoming drama 'Model Taxi,' and she is currently considering the offer.
It was previously reported that Lee Jae Hoon was also offered to star in this upcoming drama. On October 13, some media outlets reported that the actor had been cast as the lead of the upcoming SBS drama 'Model Taxi.' Lee Jae Hoon was offered to portray the character of Kim Do Gi, a normal man who works as a taxi driver. After graduating from the Korea Naval Academy and being commissioned as an officer, his life shattered when a serial killer killed his mother.
The drama is based on a webtoon of the same title. It tells the story of a taxi driver who acts as an agent and takes revenge for passengers. 'Model Taxi' was written by Oh Sang-Ho of 'Code Name: Jackal' and 'Fabricated City,' and it will be helmed by PD Park Joon Woo, who also did the series 'Doctor Detective.'
Meanwhile, 'Model Taxi' is scheduled to premiere on SBS network next year.

South Korean singer and actress Lee Na Eun was born on May 5, 1999. The 21-year-old celebrity is known to be a member of the South Korean girl group in April. Besides her group's activities being a Kpop idol, she also entered the acting business with roles in A-Teen (2018), A-Teen 2 (2019), and Extraordinary You (2019).
Lee Na Eun was a former JYP Entertainment trainee. However, she left the company right before the girl group survival "Sixteen" began shooting. She expressed that her parents did not want her to join the show. Then she trained for four months at DSP Media before debuting with April. Then on February 9, 2015, she was introduced as a member of April by DSP Media. The K-pop group APRIL debuted on August 24 with the EP Dreaming and the title track "Dream Candy"

The idol and actress began her career in acting through the VR web drama "April Love" in 2016. Following this, Lee Na Eun made a minor appearance in KBS2's My Father is Strange in 2017. Then it was announced that she will be appearing in the soundtrack of SBS TV's Switch together with her April member Jinsol. Then in 2018, it was declared that Lee Na Eun will star in as the the lead role in teen drama A-TEEN (2018) and the second season of the series in 2019. She also appreared in MBC's school fantasy Extraordinary You, which is based on the hit webtoon July Found by Chance.
