NU’EST Hwang Min Hyun Talks about His First Acting Experience
Aside from having a strong stage presence during group performances, NU'EST member Hwang Min Hyun is slowly making his way to the acting industry. In fact, he just finished his first ever drama "Live On"!
Hwang Min Hyun has been captivating the hearts of the viewers in his portrayal as Go Eun Taek, the perfectionist president of the broadcasting club in the campus in "Live On."

The 25-year-old idol is also proving his potential as a good actor with his performance in the said series. "Live On" has finally aired its last episode on Jan. 12, and the young actor successfully accomplished his first drama role showing various expressions.
His capability of showing a new side of his personality off the stage is already an important role for an artist like him.
Even though he landed a major role, he still feels nervous of acting onscreen. Nevertheless, Hwang Min Hyun was able to show his talent with his stable acting skills that garnered attention from viewers. He has shown a variety of emotions, taking into account that his character is not easy at it seems for he has to express himself in a situation where he is having a complex inner problem who doesn't have a good relationship with his parents, to being a sweet and gentle man for his first love.
It's a bonus though that he has a perfect visual that truly captivates the audiences.
In one of his written interviews, he was asked, "What kind of feeling does the drama give you that you will always remember?"
In response, the actor said, "To be honest, since it was my first lead drama, I felt a lot of pressure. But I am really grateful to all my co-actors and staff who have been there for me to be able to finish the drama successfully."
He added, "While I was having a hard time in knowing unfamiliar things, I was able to conquer it by a lot of encouragement and learnings from Jung Da Bin."

Hwang Min Hyun also shared his thoughts about his character Go Eun Taek, "I was able to immerse myself in the character because his personality and values are the same as mine. I tried to show my real emotions from being cold and arrogant to a soft and kind-hearted guy. I wish my character as Go Eun Taek will be remembered as a person who knows how to give his heart without being gullible."
Hwang Min Hyun has definitely marked his start in the acting field and fans can't wait to see more of his acting performances.
