VIXX Member N to Star in tvN's Project Drama Stage 2021 ‘The Fair’
Idol and actor Chak Hak Yeon, prominently known for his stage name as N, has been confirmed to star again in a new project!
On Feb. 5, Friday, Chak Hak Yeon's home agency 51K shared, "VIXX member N had been cast to star in tvN's Drama Stage 2021, 'The Fair.'"

The said project is said to be part of one of the short-form dramas of tvN's newest program. tvN Drama Stage 2021 will be producing ten different short dramas that were chosen during the contest exhibit for new screenwriters at ENM's "O'PEN."
This year, the theme for the exhibit was about "various stories that could happen to us in the future," which means that each drama entry will tell about the small and big problems or issues that could happen to anyone at any moment.
For the first drama project to be produced, "The Fair" is about a criminal who takes advantage of using the new system of punishment called the "Virtual Crime Program" to kill people through live broadcasts. VIXX member N will be portraying the character of Go Do Young, a criminal who announced the murders of his victims online. He is cold-hearted and capable of doing violence when it comes to his victims.
But N's role has a twist: he has this personality to trick people and act as weak against the strong and vice versa.
VIXX N Feels "Happy" with His Interesting Role
Because of his new upcoming project, N shared his gratitude towards the people who keep on believing in his capabilities to share his talent, "I am happy to meet the viewers once again with a new project. My character Do Young will be showing a different side of me that most of the people haven't seen before."
He continued, "To be honest, I am excited to play his character (Do Young). Lately, I have been thinking about so many things and feel so much pressure about taking on a dark role and story concept like this, but allow me to show a new side of me to all of you. I will also do my best to give back all your overwhelming support through my acting career."
Meanwhile, N is also confirmed to be part of the forthcoming tvN drama "Mine," starring Korean actresses Lee Bo Young and Kim Seo Hyung. He will be playing as Han Soo Hyuk, the son of Jang Seo Hyun and the eldest grandson of the chaebol group Hyowon.
Apart from singing and dancing, Chak Hak Yeon is indeed becoming more active in his acting career. This 2021, he will be working with back-to-back projects and his fans are already excited and happy about his progress as an artist.
