The Korean sci-fi movie "Space Sweepers," which many people anticipated, finally launched on Netflix, and it indeed gave viewers a one-of-a-kind K-space adventure!
The movie is set in the future of the year 2029 where the earth is no longer habitable. Abandoning the dying planet (Earth), UTS Corporation creates a new home in outer space using advanced technologies for humans to live in.

Meet the 'Victory' Spaceship Crew
The story follows the crew of a space junk collector ship called "Victory." The spaceship crew includes the pilot Tae-ho (Song Joong Ki), ex-space pirate Captain Jang (Kim Tae Ri), spaceship engineer Tiger Park (Jin Sun Kyu), and reprogrammed military robot Bubs (Yoo Hai Jin).
The team will take on a great responsibility when they discover a humanoid child robot named Doroth, known to be a weapon of mass destruction. Burdened with debts and wishes to fulfill, the team then decided to ask for a big ransom in exchange for the girl.
And their risky space adventure starts here!
Since the release of "Space Sweepers" last Feb. 5, one character has been gaining large attention from the viewers, and that character is Dorothy.

She is initially believed to be a robot that functions as a bomb, but she is actually a human who was injected with nanobots by her father as a last resort to heal her.
