‘Double Patty’ Main Leads Red Velvet’s Irene and Shin Seung Ho Will Sing the Film OST
Red Velvet's Irene and Shin Seung Ho's voice will be used for the OST of their upcoming film "Double Patty."
The romantic film will center its story on young adults achieving their dreams and taking on a journey of growth and development. Red Velvet's Irene will portray the character of Lee Hyun Ji, an aspiring anchorwoman who works hard to reach her goals in life. While trying to pursue her dreams, she works at a homemade hamburger restaurant.
Shin Seung Ho, on the other hand, portrays the character of Kang Woo Ram, a former ssireum (Korean wrestling) athlete who is gearing up to get a job. One night, both characters cross paths when Woo Ram visits the hamburger restaurant where Lee Hyun Ji is working and orders a double patty hamburger, which has a "buy one, get take on" promo.
This is when their relationship starts.
Irene and Shin Seung Ho's to Lend Vocals for "Double Patty" OST
For the new film "Double Patty," Irene and Shin Seung Ho will be singing the songs, titled "White Night" and "Night Sky." Starring as Kang Woo Ram, Shin Seung Ho will sing the classic rock song "Night Sky," which depicts the cool summer nights in the streets of Itaewon.
As for Lee Hyun Ji (Irene), she will sing the waltz song 'White Night," which pictures the elegance of youth. The song "White Night" is derived from the poem with the same name penned by poet Baek Seok.
Surely, fans will love the tracks as they listen to Irene's and Shin Seung Ho's charismatic voices. The viewer's hearts will flutter as Lee Hyun Ji and Kang Woo Ram's romance blossoms one summer night.
The "Double Patty" OST scheduled release date is on Feb. 14, and music videos will be pre-released via Genie Music. The drama's premiere will follow on February 17.

Irene and Shin Seung Ho's Career Beginnings
Bae Joo Hyun, a.k.a. Irene, is a South Korean singer and actress born on March 29, 1991. The 29-year-old celebrity is a member and leader of the South Korean girl group Red Velvet and its sub-unit Red Velvet - Irene & Seulgi.
She started her career in the acting industry way back in 2016 through the web drama "Women at a Game Company," where she starred as the female lead. In the same year, she appeared in "Hello! Our Language", a sitcom set on teaching viewers proper Korean.
Meanwhile, South Korean actor and model Shin Seung Ho was born on November 11, 1995. The actor garnered plenty of attention after his appearance in A-Teen (2018) and has been dubbed the prince of web dramas.
