Due to the financial losses and the termination of the evening drama, the actors' agencies are having a hard time receiving payments for the 14 episodes that they have worked on.

"We're in a difficult situation because we can't really ask the K-Drama production team to pay us for the work our actors have done. However, our agency will be in a more difficult situation if we don't get back the investment we put in every episode. So we're in a frustrating situation," an anonymous management official revealed as obtained by a Korean publication.

Prior to this, it was previously mentioned that the show is almost done after the cast members have completed 80 percent or 14 episodes for the drama.

To recall, the period drama is slated to have a total of 16 episodes; unfortunately, because of the criticism and accusation regarding historical distortion, "Joseon Exorcist" only aired for two episodes.
