Youn Yuh Jung has captivated the hearts of the international audience as she dominates the poll for Oscars 2021.

The veteran South Korean actress is predicted to win the best supporting actress at the 93rd Academy Awards for her impressive performance for the drama film "Minari."

In a recent report cited by The Korea Herald, the 73-year-old actress managed to score more than 4,500 votes in Gold Derby's Oscars race poll, where editors, experts, and internet users cast their votes.

This makes the "Canola" star lead the said category, surpassing fellow nominees such as Amanda Seyfried for "Mank," British actress Olivia Coleman for "The Father," Emmy winner Glenn Close for her portrayal as Bonnie "Mamaw" Vance in the 2020 melodrama film "Hillbilly Elegy," and lastly, Maria Bakalova for "Borat Subsequent Movie Film."

Interestingly, the Bulgarian actress came in second place with 582 votes and was followed by the "101 Dalmatian" star.

Capping off the poll is "The Crown" star, who sits at the fourth rank while the 35-year-old blonde beauty lands at the bottom spot.
