So Ji Sub Relationship Status 2021: Is There Trouble in Paradise after a Year of Marriage?

So Ji Sub recently made the news when he sent his good friend Song Joong Ki and the entire "Vincenzo" stars and staff a thoughtful gift.

So Ji Sub must have known that the actors and staff of the famous drama are working so hard on the last episodes that he deemed it nice to send over a coffee truck, which is quite praiseworthy. 

So Ji Sub Relationship Status 2021: How is Marriage to Jo Eun Jung?

If he can be like this to his friend, imagine how generous and loving he could be to his wife. So Ji Sub has been married for a year and a few days now but has remained quite silent about how married life is treating him.

Could it be possible that there is now trouble in paradise? 

Apparently not. 

No news of them ever fighting has made it online or in the rumor mill. It can be remembered that when So Ji Sub married his partner Jo Eun Jung back in April 2020, it was the time when the COVID-19 pandemic was starting and everyone felt uncertain of what would happen. The actor was so considerate of what fans would think that he even wrote a letter to his fans, knowing they would like to understand the seemingly rushed decision.

So Ji Sub and Jo Eun Jung started dating almost a year prior, in May 2019. 

He said that marrying is one of the most important decisions in his life that he took so long to make, so he would like to see his fans support and encourage him in this new journey as they have supported him so far in his acting career.

He said that he has a "heavy heart" announcing such a happy event in his life at a difficult time for everyone, but emphasized that he will always live with gratitude and even serve the fans better by being a better actor. 

He also wished everyone to stay healthy. 

So Ji Sub's Wedding Remains Shocking to Many To Date

His agency 51K also talked about the decision, claiming that the actor had met someone really valuable to him and has tied the knot. The agency added that because the couple wanted to have an intimate wedding only, they hold a simple one with their immediate family members in attendance.

In addition, because of the pandemic, they decided to offer comfort and hope to everyone experiencing difficulty by donating 50 million won to Good Neighbors, designed to provide schoolchildren who do not have the funds to buy some necessary tablets and smart devices for their education.

The agency also apologized for not being able to reveal details of the marriage, especially in consideration for So Ji Sub's non-celebrity spouse.

Even though Jo Eun Jung is not a celebrity, she got fans of her own as a television reporter. That said, she's not completely new to the world of television, having debuted as a reporter for various programs on OGN.

It was on SBS's E-News Exclusive that she was able to interview So Ji Sub back in 2018. She resigned later that year. 

Asked why it seemed as if the two were in so much rush to get married, So Ji Sub's agency was very straightforward in pointing out that the actor is no longer young.

So Ji Sub and Jo Eun Jung decided to get married the moment they realized they feel love for each other and it is not a shotgun wedding, the agency clarified.
